Cooked fresh every day, and varying from lunchtime to evening, the

Chef's Specials offer tantalising additions to the large range of meals

available every day.

The 'Extra Specials', cooked from Thursday to Saturday will normally include an exotic Chicken dish, a fresh fish dish and for all the red meat lovers,

a superb steak with garnish or freshly prepared sauce. The board on the left shows a typical Friday night offering and reads as follows:

  • Fillet Steak with Stilton Sauce, sauté potatoes and veg.

  • Lamb Rump with a mint & honey sauce, sauté potatoes & veg.

  • Chicken Maryland.

  • Duck Breast with a Plum Sauce, sauté potatoes and veg.

  • Whole Lemon Sole with a Dill and Lemon butter with new potatoes and salad.

  • Smoked Chicken platter with crusty bread
